06 / AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
Your artist’s specific instructions come first. This guide covers the basics and helps you know when to ask for help.

Wash your hands before touching your tattoo. Gently clean it with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free cleanser, then pat dry with a clean disposable towel. Don’t scrub or rub.
Use only the aftercare product and amount recommended for your piece. Avoid scratching, picking, tight rubbing clothing, swimming, soaking, and saunas until the skin has healed. A shower is different from soaking.
Keep a healing tattoo out of direct sun. Once healed, use a broad-spectrum, water-resistant SPF 30 or higher and reapply as directed. Moisturize dry skin with a suitable fragrance-free product.
WHEN TO SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE
Some soreness and mild redness can occur early on. Spreading redness, worsening pain, increasing swelling, pus, fever, or chills need prompt medical attention. For breathing difficulty or a severe reaction, seek emergency care.
Contact a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns. The studio can help with aftercare instructions but cannot diagnose or treat a complication.
